Fancy to meet you, Higgs Boson.
Looks like it so far behaves almost exactly like the standard model predicts. Results are primeliary, but look very good, insert the usual disclaimers here. Nice for the proponents of the Standard Model, not so nice for Super Symmetry, though.
Not much of a “God Particle” though, just physics as usual. Which means the world will continue, there’s no panic required and we won’t be smacked down by a displeased deity, like a few frindgy fanatics froathed.
Man, some people are going to be utterly disappointed about that.
