Oh hai! Itz workin’!
I seem to have alittle bit of a Sith in me, I love my absolutes. “Absolutly no sugar in my coffe” works out much better than “Oh, lets have one piece please.” And “I’m always have salad for lunch at work” is far superior to “Oh, I’m going to try to have salad as often as possible”.
Seems to be the same mechanism I’ve written about before – And once again I realize that my head’s a strange, strange place.
But I’m happy with the numbers. They all went up!
Lessons learned:
I need simple rules. The simpler, the better, and their wording must not allow for wiggle room. I’m good to wiggle out of the rule if there’s wiggle room.
Numbers need to go UP not down. This is important!
It’s far easier to just not eat chocolate than just a piece of chocolate. But the easiest way to deal with it is not to buy it at all. I’m far less snappy than expected. Salad actually makes full and can be a whole meal, I just have to eat enough to it. Frozen Berries are better than chips or chocolate. I’m lucky to be able to afford decent food and to live in an area where fresh salad’s cheaper than pizza and MacDonalds. The lack of Latte’s fantastic for my wallet. I expected to miss those little nasty habbits and to suffer nobly for my goal, but I really can’t be arsed to do that. The grind needs to much attention for that. My cats are scared by apples. Too much Sugar makes me hyper, too much fat makes my sleepy. I got better cholesterol and bloodsugar levels than one of my thin-as-a-rail friends.
I feel much better when I brave the scale everyday instead of once per week. Feedback’s important.
Some things are non-negationable.
The morning cinnamon bun stays. That’s why the Latte’s gone permamently. I’m happy.
Conclusions:
I’m euphoric right now. Lets see how long it stays that way.
